A Little Too Convenient
NEW JERSEY (OCN) – Commerce Bank has always pride themselves as being “America’s Most Convenient Bank” and it seems that one man has taken it to the extreme. According to reports, the serial bank robber with monkier “Mad Hatter,” who is also dubbed the “hat bandit,” has conveniently rob at least 11 Commerce Bank in the state of New Jersey in the past year.
This mastermind has manage to elude law enforcement by having his face blocked from cameras by wearing hats but his days may be at an end. The Montclair Times is reporting that police “can finally put a face to the nickname.”
It appears he had struck again on on Friday, June 1 at the Commerce Bank in Montclair and they (Commerce Bank and law enforcement) were able to get a better view of his face on surveillance video. This should make it easier for the authorities to nab him should he stick his face in other bank.
