Sprint Launches Their Surprise IPhone Killer for Halloween

NEW YORK (OCN) — Verizon, Apple, Dell and AT&T are in awe today as Sprint Nextel launches a surprise attack with their secret iPhone Killer. The new device called SELVESTR is now being offered on their website at www.sprint.com.

With all the recent hype over the upcoming Verizon Voyager that is set to be released this Thanksgiving, Sprint and Sanyo were able to keep under the radar and beat Verizon with an early 4 week launch.

Customers can pre-purchase the limited black and orange SELVESTR today which thorough Halloween which comes bundled with 10 free downloadable ring tones from their Digital Lounge, and a choice of a hands free kit or San2Sync to transfer and manage files on their Mac or Windows PC.

We tried to reach Jim Gerace, a Verizon Wireless vice president who recently had “nothing bad to say about the Apple iPhone” in a recent interview but he was unavailable for comment.

It is still unsure at this time why Sprint went with Sanyo for the SELVESTR. This may be a possible move to help vitalize Sanyo after their semiconductor plant was hit in 2004 by th Chûetsu earthquake.

As more information passes to us in the following weeks, we shall let you know.
